Darts can be an extremely frustrating game: some nights the darts seem magical and other nights you might as well be throwing pencils at the board.
As I started to play more seriously and was interested in improving my game, it became clear that the challenge isn't hitting a dart or winning a game - it's putting together solid, consistent darts, game after game, week after week. Oh, and it would be nice to win a few games along the way.
Of course we all know what it takes to get better: practice, practice, practice. But personally, I can only throw so many darts at the trip-20 before it starts to get boring, boring, boring.
So my teammates and I started inventing practice games. The idea is to find games that are entertaining, competitive and focus on some aspect of our dart game.
I started this site as a way to share these games and possibly find out what other people are doing to keep dart practice interesting and effective. I hope you find something here to help you enjoy improving your game.
